MEHRIDIAN DOCS v0.1 — THIRD-PARTY NOTICES (PRIVATE RELEASE CANDIDATE) Scope: retained notices for identified browser code and conservatively included rendering dependencies. This is NOT an attestation that every minified/transitive browser dependency has been inventoried. See RELEASE-READINESS.md for open items. This document does not license original Mehridian prose, theme, or diagram. CONFIRMED BROWSER PATH - Search's browser script imports FlexSearch 0.8.212 (Apache-2.0). - Search and syntax-highlighting supply browser scripts under Quartz Community MIT. - Quartz theme/client scripts and selected plugin code reach rendered pages. STEP 5D1 — OBSERVED GENERATED OUTPUT (31 FILES, PINNED CI RUN 38720969648) - Six authored HTML routes and Quartz's additional 404.html. - Seven emitted JavaScript files (one zero-byte prescript) and seven emitted CSS files, plus five distinct inline JavaScript signatures in the HTML. - The emitted 77,200-byte static/scripts/script-0-317415a1.js contains recognizable FlexSearch and Preact code signatures; exact code digest is recorded in scripts/published-assets.lock.json (private build evidence). - No generated fonts or WASM files. Other copied assets include the original diagram, license/provenance text, search index, Quartz default icon.png and og-image.png, and giscus light/dark CSS. - The giscus CSS files include "MIT License" and "Copyright (c) 2018 GitHub Inc." headers referring to GitHub Primer primitives. They are distributed even though no documentation page uses a Giscus comments widget. - Source lockfiles show FlexSearch 0.8.212 and Preact 10.28.4 (Quartz) / 10.29.1 (Search). The emitted minified bundle cannot on its own reliably distinguish Preact's specific installed instance. Preact MIT notice retained. STEP 5D1 — HISTORICAL CONSERVATIVE INCLUSION (updated by Step 5H below) - Preact version remains unassigned between two pinned installed instances, although emitted JavaScript contains a recognizable Preact signature. - @quartz-community/utils is imported from Search's browser script; Search's npm lock references ff02040c07d0dcb2075994b2acd7cfec710326fa. - github-slugger 2.0.0 (ISC) is imported by the utils path module; tree-shaking may eliminate it. License retained pending bundle-level proof. BUILD-SIDE VS REDISTRIBUTED - Installed Node/build-only dependencies (e.g., TypeScript, test tools, Shiki and rehype-pretty-code during HTML transformation) are not presumed distributed merely by appearing in package-lock.json. - SPA/popovers are disabled; micromorph and @floating-ui/dom are not automatically classified as browser-shipped in this configuration. - The emitted file and code-fingerprint inventory is complete for this build. Module-by-module minified transitive attribution remains open for owner review. STEP 5H — CURRENT REVIEW DISPOSITION - An in-memory search-bundle rebuild with module metadata matched the emitted search script byte-for-byte. It identified Search's Preact 10.29.1, github-slugger 2.0.0 and FlexSearch 0.8.212 as contributing modules. - Preact's retained MIT text matches both pinned installed instances; the shipped github-slugger ISC notice and FlexSearch Apache text remain retained. - The four historical attribution exceptions were classified as category 2: managed uncertainty subject to the documented notices and owner acceptance. No missing obligation was demonstrated. This does not establish exhaustive attribution or legal clearance for every generated asset. - Owner approval covers the new Mehridian artwork and scoped copyright wording, not public release or final ownership/legal acceptance. Step 5D1's stock-art inventory above is historical; Step 5G replaced those images. The stock images are no longer shipped. The owner approved the new artwork. Reconcile any additional transitive browser code if a future module audit detects it; do not infer blanket legal clearance from this file. - The owner authorized scoped reservation for original Mehridian contributions; see mehridian-copyright.txt. Final ownership/legal and publication acceptance remain separate. No upstream permission is overridden.
